The O-I facility at 5200 Beverly Dr, Waco, TX is (formerly operated as) a glass bottle manufacturing plant by Owens-Illinois, Inc. (O-I), one of the world’s largest glass container producers.

Featuring Large-Scale, Late Model Industrial Emissions Control Systems
The Waco Owens-Illinois (O-I) glass manufacturing facility incorporated advanced industrial emissions control technology as part of its air quality compliance strategy. Among these technologies are large-scale Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTOs) — key components of the plant’s Emissions Processing Systems (EPS) infrastructure.
These RTO units were designed to manage and treat high-volume exhaust streams generated by glass furnace operations, effectively destroying volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other regulated emissions before release to the atmosphere. Engineered for efficiency and environmental performance, the systems also incorporated thermal energy recovery to reduce operating fuel requirements while maintaining high destruction efficiency.
